Rental FAQ

Common questions

Short answers for the things most customers need to know before sending a camping gear rental request.

How does weekend package pricing work?

Weekend packages use the package price shown on the site. They are built for Friday through Sunday trips, with Monday return okay. Individual gear and add-ons are priced nightly.

When can I return the gear?

Return timing is reviewed at pickup. Weekend packages are built around Friday through Sunday use, with Monday return okay.

How do add-ons work?

Add-ons are individual gear items you can add after choosing a package. They are priced nightly based on the dates you select.

Do I pay online?

No. You submit a rental request online, Travis reviews availability, and payment is completed in person at pickup after Travis confirms availability.

Is my rental request automatically confirmed?

No. After the site receives your request, Travis reviews availability and follows up to confirm, modify, or decline it before pickup.

Where do I pick up my gear?

Standard pickup is at 4648 W Palmer Drive, Suite A, West Valley City, UT 84120. Paid public highway-exit meetups can be requested when you submit your rental request.

How clean should gear be when returned?

Bring gear back in the condition reviewed at pickup. Shake out tents and bags, keep food and trash out of the gear, and mention any damage or missing items when you return it.

What if I am not sure which package I need?

Start with the package closest to your group size, then add chairs, coolers, shade, cooking gear, or comfort items as needed. You can also contact the owner with your trip details.

Utah camping tips

Pack for comfort first.

These reminders are meant for simple weekend trips, family campouts, and first-time renters who want an easier setup.

01

Start with sleeping comfort

Pick the tent and sleep setup first. Then add cots, pads, pillows, and sleeping bags based on who needs the most comfort.

02

Plan your shade and seating

Chairs, tables, and canopy shade make camp easier for meals, kids, and downtime between activities.

03

Keep cooking simple

Choose only the cooking gear your meals actually need. Add a cooler, water container, table, or stove when your trip calls for it.

04

Return gear clean and complete

Keep food, trash, and loose dirt out of tents, bags, coolers, and chairs. Bring everything back together so return check-in is smooth.

05

Ask about uncertain items

If you are not sure whether you need a larger tent, extra chairs, a cooler, or shade, send a quick message with your group size and trip style.

06

Use flame and propane items carefully

Follow posted campground rules, keep heat away from tents and dry materials, and review any fire or propane item expectations at pickup.
